CELEBRATE THE INAUGURAL CLASS
On September 16, 2021 the Rice Alliance Clean Energy Accelerator hosted a Virtual Demo Day to celebrate and meet the inaugural class of the accelerator.
12 startups in our first cohort pitched with live audience Q&A. You can still view the booths and a recording of the event on the event platform, Whova.
ACCESS THE EVENT. (Must already be registered to attend.)
The Rice Alliance Clean Energy Accelerator was launched to increase the likelihood of success for early-stage startups advancing solutions for a cleaner, more efficient and sustainable future. Through a comprehensive curriculum, custom mentor relationships and targeted corporate and investor introductions, the 12-week program prepares startups to quickly accelerate their business, launch pilots and fundraise.
AGENDA
Join us before the event starts to review the startup virtual booths and learn more about their technologies. Most startup booths will include a Zoom link to meet and chat, either during the event or at a specific time after the event. You can also text chat with other attendees.
Each startup will give a quick pitch along with the opportunity for questions and answers from the audience. The event will be a webinar, so questions will be asked via chat!
After hearing the pitches, we encourage you to check back in with startups at their booths and download contact information.
WATCH THE PITCHESYou can watch each of the individual pitches or the entire program on our YouTube.
The event was hosted on Whova. If you already registered, you can still access the booths and find contact information for each of the participating startups. We encourage you to utilize the platform and connect with the startups for follow up. You will also have an opportunity to meet Class 1 in-person during the 19th Annual Energy Tech Venture Forum on January 27, 2022.
*Demo Day was originally scheduled to coincide with the in-person 19th Annual Energy Tech Venture Forum. Due to the rapid rise in Covid-19 cases, the forum has been postponed to January 27, 2022. The event brings together more than 700 members of the energy industry including investors, corporations and the broader energy community. All CEA startups are invited back to pitch and participate in Office Hours in January.
