Meet the 12 Companies Innovating in Energy as Part of Class 4
From 6 states and 2 countries, the 12 ventures in Class 4 are driving innovation in Advanced Materials, Carbon Management or Accounting, Digital Technologies, Energy Efficiency or Storage, Hydrogen, Solar, and Corrosion Detection.
After a very competitive screening process, these 12 ventures were selected based on their progress and goals to scale their companies, the promise of their technology to significantly impact the transition to a cleaner, energy economy and their bullishness for the Houston market. Applications were analyzed by a screening committee consisting of 50+ industry experts, institutional investors, corporate VCs, energy leaders, and entrepreneurs.
We look forward to bringing these exciting ventures to Houston and working with them over the course of the next 3 months. They will be in Houston three times through the program and will present their companies during Demo Day at the Energy Tech Venture Forum, as part of the Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week taking place September 9-13, 2024.
